So WhatsApp is finally and officially available for Computer, till date we used to use WhatsApp on PC using BlueStacks or YouWave which is still working fine but the only problem with those methods is that they are not official one.
But now, you can officially or genuinely use WhatsApp for Web or Desktop with the new feature which the officials have added, its basically WhatsApp Web Version.
But wait, its not what you are thinking, you don’t have to download any WhatsApp messenger software into your computer, but this new feature will only work on Google Chrome and its completely web based feature which means that their is no need to download any kind of program into your PC.

Instead, you will need to scan the QR code which is available on their official website from your WhatsApp Mobile App. Don’t worry if you are finding it confusing, I am giving you complete tutorial on how to use WhatsApp for Web or Desktop, just have a look below.

How to use WhatsApp for Web – Windows 7/8/XP Computer & Mac?

Note : For using WhatsApp on PC you will need to have WhatsApp Messenger installed and verified with SMS and phone number into your mobile phone first, so if you are thinking that you will directly be able to login into WhatsApp Desktop then its not the case, rest assured just follow the steps which I have given below.
  1. First of all upgrade your WhatsApp Messenger in your smartphone, its necessary step.
Note : You need to have WhatsApp v2.11.498 or above, download the latest .APK file from here.

  7. Its just the mirror image of your WhatsApp Mobile.

Disadvantage of WhatsApp for Web or Desktop Official Version :

Here are few of the negative points which I want to let you know, I have listed it down below, these are strong points.
  • It is not available for iPhone or iOS users, feeling bad for them.
  • Its just the mirror of your WhatsApp Messenger which is in your mobile phone.
  • The chat and messages which you are doing on your Web Desktop version, it is happening live on the spot on your WhatsApp in Smartphone.
  • Thus, WhatsApp will consume double data i.e one from web version and other from your phone.
  • It is risky to use it on public computer because if you forget to log off from that public PC then any one can see your previous messages which you have sent from mobile also and he/she can even send one from your WhatsApp.
Now, lets come to the advantages or benefits part of WhatsApp web version, you can even call it extra features, have a look below.

Advantages of WhatsApp Web :

Some plus points of this new features is given below, please take a look.
  • You can obviously use WhatsApp Messenger from your Computer, we were waiting for the same from last 3 years, this is the biggest feature in itself.
  • You don’t need to scan the QR code again and again, its just the first time setup or step which you are doing, if you log off from desktop then you need to repeat it again, so its a no time waster.
  • You will be able to type in desktop with amazing speed, send images and videos at blazing fast speed
So folks, I think, WhatsApp for PC (official web desktop version) is boon for many of us who use it very much. Finally, WhatsApp on PC is available for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP as well as Mac. Thanks for visiting us.

God Mode gives Windows users the "big picture" of their controls.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 have a hidden "God Mode" feature that provides users with a single place to do everything from changing the look of the mouse pointer to making a new hard drive partition -- without having to dig through the multiple Control Panel features. All you have to do to enter God Mode is to create a new folder in Windows Vista or 7 and name it with a certain text string.

Difficulty:
Easy
Instructions

1. Right-click an empty spot on your Desktop.

2. Click "New" and then "Folder."

3. Name the folder

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}.

The folder's icon will change to a Control Panel icon, and it will fill up with hundreds of Control Panel options

4. Double-click the "GodMode" folder, and you'll find all your Control Panel options in one place.

Tips & Warnings
Although this will work on the 32 bit version of Windows Vista the God Mode will not work on the 64 bit version of Windows and will cause the 64 bit version of Windows Vista to crash.

Dropbox - The Ultimate Uploading Source

Dropbox

If you're not already using Dropbox, we have to ask: What are you waiting for? This popular service lets you easily sync files between computers, share with them others, and create backups. Best of all, it integrates so seamlessly with Windows -- and other platforms -- that you're barely even aware that you're using it. This program is a must-have for anyone who needs to make their files readily available to multiple users or computers.

Once installed, Dropbox appears as an icon in the system tray. It doesn't have an interface, exactly; it turns up as a folder in My Documents, and it functions just as any other folder would. The magical thing about this folder, however, is that its contents are stored both locally and in the cloud. Any files or folders that you place inside the Dropbox folder can be easily shared: simply right-click, select Dropbox from the context menu, then select Share Link. This will open your default browser and provide you with the opportunity to share the selected file or folder via e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter, or to simply copy its Dropbox URL. The folder contents will also be automatically synced, so anyone who has access to a folder will immediately have the most up-to-date files. You can forget about using USB drives or e-mailing documents to yourself; Dropbox lets you keep everything you need in My Documents on multiple computers, or simply log into the Web interface if you're not on a machine that has Dropbox installed. Dropbox requires users to create an account; the service provides users with 2 GB of space for free, but paid upgrades are available if you need more. A thorough online Help center, as well as brief text instructions within the Dropbox folder, provide plenty of well-written documentation.

Dropbox is incredibly easy to use and will change the way you store and share files. We highly recommend it.

Its Key Features:-

File Sync
  • 2GB of online storage for free, with up to 100GB available to paying customers.
  • Sync files of any size or type.
  • Sync Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
  • Automatically syncs when new files or changes are detected.

File Sharing
  • Shared folders allow several people to collaborate on a set of files.
  • You can see other people's changes instantly.

Online Backup
  • Automatic backup of your files.
  • Undelete files and folders.

So the question arises, how can we make a folder with a keyword as its name? The solution to this problem is included in Windows itself. As we know that Windows has evolved from D.O.S.(Disk Operating System), its commands can be used in Windows. You can use D.O.S. Programming in Windows to create a folder with a keyword as its name using the steps given below:

How To Create Undeletable And Unrenamable Folders ?

  1. Go to Start and then Click on Run
  2. Type cmd & hit enter (To open Command Prompt ).
  3. Remember you cannot create Undeletable & unrenamable folder in your root directory (i.e. where the windows is installed) That means you can’t make this kind of folder in C: drive if you installed windows on C:
  4. Type D: or E: and hit enter
  5. Type md con\ and hit enter (md – make directory)
  6. You may use other words such as aux, lpt1, lpt2, lpt3 up to lpt9 instead of con in above step.
  7. Open that directory, you will see the folder created of name con.
  8. Try to delete that folder or rename that folder windows will show the error message.

How to delete that folder ?

It is not possible to delete that folder manually but you can delete this folder by another way mentioned below.

Choosing A Good Domain Name - Its Importance

Choosing a domain name for your site is one of the most important steps towards creating the perfect internet presence. If you run an on-line business, picking a name that will be marketable and achieve success in search engine placement is paramount. Many factors must be considered when choosing a good domain name. This article summarizes all the different things to consider before making that final registration step!

Short and Sweet

Domain names can be really long or really short (1 - 67 characters). In general, it is far better to choose a domain name that is short in length. The shorter your domain name, the easier it will be for people remember. Remembering a domain name is very important from a marketability perspective. As visitors reach your site and enjoy using it, they will likely tell people about it. And those people may tell others, etc. As with any business, word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool to drive traffic to your site (and it's free too!). If your site is long and difficult to pronounce, people will not remember the name of the site and unless they bookmark the link, they may never return.

Consider Alternatives

Unless a visitor reaches your site through a bookmark or a link from another site, they have typed in your domain name. Most people on the internet are terrible typists and misspell words constantly. If your domain name is easy to misspell, you should think about alternate domain names to purchase. For example, if your site will be called "MikesTools.com", you should also consider buying "MikeTools.com" and "MikeTool.com". You should also secure the different top level domain names besides the one you will use for marketing purposes ("MikesTools.net", "MikesTools.org", etc.) You should also check to see if there are existing sites based on the misspelled version of the domain name you are considering. "MikesTools.com" may be available, but "MikesTool.com" may be home to a graphic pornography site. You would hate for a visitor to walk away thinking you were hosting something they did not expect.

Also consider domain names that may not include the name of your company, but rather what your company provides. For example, if the name of your company is Mike's Tools, you may want to consider domain names that target what you sell. For example: "buyhammers.com" or "hammer-and-nail.com". Even though these example alternative domain names do not include the name of your company, it provides an avenue for visitors from your target markets. Remember that you can own multiple domain names, all of which can point to a single domain. For example, you could register "buyhammers.com", "hammer-and-nail.com", and "mikestools.com" and have "buyhammers.com" and "hammer-and-nail.com" point to "mikestools.com".

Hyphens: Your Friend and Enemy

Domain name availability has become more and more scant over the years. Many single word domain names have been scooped up which it makes it more and more difficult to find a domain name that you like and is available. When selecting a domain name, you have the option of including hyphens as part of the name. Hyphens help because it allows you to clearly separate multiple words in a domain name, making it less likely that a person will accidentally misspell the name. For example, people are more likely to misspell "domainnamecenter.com" than they are "domain-name-center.com". Having words crunched together makes it hard on the eyes, increasing the likelihood of a misspelling. On the other hand, hyphens make your domain name longer. The longer the domain name, the easier it is for people to forget it altogether. Also, if someone recommends a site to someone else, they may forget to mention that each word in the domain name is separated by a hyphen. If do you choose to leverage hyphens, limit the number of words between the hyphens to three. Another advantage to using hyphens is that search engines are able to pick up each unique word in the domain name as key words, thus helping to make your site more visible in search engine results.

Dot What?

There are many top level domain names available today including .com, .net, .org, and .biz. In most cases, the more unusual the top level domain, the more available domain names are available. However, the .com top level domain is far and away the most commonly used domain on the internet, driven by the fact that it was the first domain extension put to use commercially and has received incredible media attention. If you cannot lay your hands on a .com domain name, look for a .net domain name, which is the second most commercially popular domain name extension.

Long Arm of the Law

Be very careful not to register domain names that include trademarked names. Although internet domain name law disputes are tricky and have few cases in existence, the risk of a legal battle is not a risk worth taking. Even if you believe your domain name is untouchable by a business that has trademarked a name, do not take the chance: the cost of litigation is extremely high and unless you have deep pockets you will not likely have the resources to defend yourself in a court of law. Even stay away from domain names in which part of the name is trademarked: the risks are the same.

Search Engines and Directories

All search engines and directories are different. Each has a unique process for being part of the results or directory listing and each has a different way of sorting and listing domain names. Search engines and directories are the most important on-line marketing channel, so consider how your domain name choice affects site placement before you register the domain. Most directories simply list links to home pages in alphabetical order. If possible, choose a domain name with a letter of the alphabet near the beginning ("a" or "b"). For example, "aardvark-pest-control.com" will come way above "joes-pest-control.com". However, check the directories before you choose a domain name. You may find that the directories you would like be in are already cluttered with domain names beginning with the letter "a". Search engines scan websites and sort results based on key words. Key words are words that a person visiting a search engine actually search on. Having key words as part of your domain name can help you get better results.
